Visitors who have been to the Club Marine SA Boat and Fishing Show before will recognise Paul Worsteling from IFish. Paul has been the Show’s special guest for the past few years, and we are thrilled that he is attending the Show again in 2017!
Paul Worsteling the charismatic host of the popular Australian fishing show IFISH with Tackleworld. Paul attends Boat Shows regularly across Australia to talk fishing, and loves nothing more than having a chat with his fans.
Paul’s show IFISH covers all types of fishing. His passionate and vibrant hosting style engages viewers in fresh and salt water, and everything from game to fly fishing adventures. He works to present the most diverse, educational and visually appealing professional fishing program possible.
The show received Logie nominations in 2012, 2013, 2014 AND 2015 for Best Lifestyle Program as well as Paul himself being recognised in 2013 with a nomination for Best TV Presenter and a subsequent prestigious gold Logie nomination.
Paul’s angling accomplishments are far reaching. Paul holds two Australian Anglers Association National Records for mako and thresher sharks, a state record for Zebra fish and several IGFA (International Game Fishing Association) World records for species including Giant Trevally, Golden Trevally and Australian Salmon. He has won countless fishing competitions and club championships, but would much prefer to fish for the love of the sport, than for competition these days.
But one of the best things about Paul Worsteling is his passion. Speak to him for just a few minutes and you’ll see he has a strong passion for what’s important in life – for fishing, for his family and friends, for having a laugh. And his passion is infectious – after just a short chat with Paul, you’ll be grabbing a fishing rod and heading out to the water!
Paul will be special guest on the Fishing Forum Stage at the Show, and will tell some of his own fishing stories in South Australia and across the globe; as well as inviting others to share their own angling achievements with him.
